John Galasso
Founder & President
With over 20 years of distinguished service in the New York City Police Department, John Galasso is recognized as one of the department’s most accomplished and decorated Detective Sergeants. His unwavering commitment, leadership, and expertise led to his selection as Supervisor of the Domestic Terrorism Unit within the NYPD/FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, overseeing critical investigations—including the 9/11 attacks, the Anthrax mailings, and numerous other high-profile cases.
Prior to 9/11, John commanded the NYPD/DEA HIDTA unit, achieving record-breaking drug seizures and dismantling multiple international drug trafficking organizations. He was among a select group of supervisors to lead two elite Federal Task Force Teams while serving within the NYPD.
Bringing this depth of knowledge, investigative skill, and leadership to Empire Security Consultants Corp. (ESCC), John has built one of the most respected security consulting firms—serving clients domestically and internationally, with established offices in the Dominican Republic and the Philippines.
